I am writing to share information about Kathy Stroh. Eight weeks ago Kathy was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukema. It is aggressive and there is no cure. She is doctoring with a fine doctor at the Roger Maris Cancer Center in Fargo. She is currently undergoing several rounds of chemo therapy in an attempt to slow the progress of the disease. She has completed 3 rounds and is tolerating it quite well, which is a real blessing. Her immune system is quite compromised so she is susceptible to every bug out there. Kathy was hospitalized at Sanford in Fargo for 4 weeks and is now at home in Fergus Falls where she continues to work on getting stronger and trying to reign in the leukemia to give her some quality days. Kathy has a great attitude and a very strong faith which is helping her through the dark days. She remains upbeat and positive. She’s a dear. She loves connecting with old friends so I send this to you guys thinking if there is some part of this message that you could forward through your contacts to old friends who might reach out, Kathy would like that.
